WHO AM I?

My Background

I am an alumna of both Northern Arizona University (B.S.Ed., Secondary Education - Biology, 2011; M.A. Science Teaching, 2017) and The University of Texas at Austin (Ph.D., STEM Education, 2021). As a STEM educator and education researcher, I have a wide range of experiences with both teaching and research, including elementary, secondary, and undergraduate levels; both formal and informal, rural and urban settings; and science, math, and engineering disciplines. I also have a record of service within my institutions.

Present and Future

I am currently an Assistant Research Professor in Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona, working in an interdisciplinary team to develop the Growing Mathletes curriculum and professional learning program. I aspire to a tenure-track position so that I may continue my work in teaching, research, and service.
